Beverly “Bannie” Lowrance Haer

1933-2018

Beverly “Bannie” Lowrance Haer, 85, Maryville, Missouri passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Nodaway Nursing Home in Maryville, Missouri.

She was born January 2nd 1933 in Graham, Missouri to Earl and Belle Lowrance.

Beverly met her husband James Andrew Haer in 1951 on a double date to the Mound City movie theater. They were married November 17th, 1951, at the Mound City Presbyterian Church.

She attended Graham High School and graduated in 1951. Beverly was a majorette in the Graham School marching band. She also played the piano by ear. In 1952, their first daughter, Rebecca Haer Egbert was born. The family then moved to Mound City for 16 years while James worked for the Missouri highway department. In 1959, their second daughter, Marcia Haer Rolf, was born. In 1968 they moved to their farm in Craig, MO. In 1989 James and Beverly moved to Big Lake, Missouri, to enjoy retirement by fishing every day, auctions, and hunting. Beverly was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Mound City and also attended the Benton Church in Mound City.

Beverly was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Irma Graham, Imo Long; brother, Gerald Lowrance and son-in-law, Joe Rolf.

Survivors include daughters, Rebecca Egbert (Bill), Marcia Rolf; eight grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Interment Baldwin Cemetery, south of Mound City.  The family will receive friends 2:00 to 3:00 P.M.
